About me

I live in South Wales and work as a Director in an agri environmental company. I am a keen wildlife watcher and scuba diver. I have been photographing for approx 7 years and diving for nearly 12 years. I am lucky enough to travel abroad several times a year to gain some of my images.

I live close to the Brecon Beacons National Park but now travel throughout the UK for photos.

I am a member of RSPB, Butterfly Conservation and WIldlife and Wetlands Trusts

In 2018 I hope to continue to photograph all the UK mammals though some will be quite challenging! This years efforts were rewarded when I became a finalist in the British Wildlife Photography Awards with an image of boxing brown hares. Page 68 in BWPA book series 8.
My trips this year include a visit to Finland in February for wolverine, golden eagle and again in the summer for bird nest sites and wolverine cubs. Consequently. there will be a new talk on wild life in Finland form the autumn of 2018. My diving trips include Socorro and the Bahamas mainly for sharks and ocean mammals., I also have 2 trips planned to Scotland for a variety of species.

Many thanks to all of you that have invited me to speak at wildlife and camera clubs in 2017 and all the kind words about my photos. I am happy to take more bookings for 2018 and 2019 and wish you all a very happy new year. I hope to bump into more of you in the hides over this year.
